Atlantis The Palm Wavehouse Dubai Brunch Review

The latest addition to the Avenues at Atlantis The Palm Dubai is a two-storey licensed venue that’s fun for all ages. A bowling alley, arcade games, Wavepark (where you can surf) and outdoor terrace with swings for chairs – what more can you ask for? Oh yes, the menu!

We highly recommend doing the Friday brunch with a bunch of friends. Why? You can take your drinks to literally every area of the restaurant, while bowling and playing Star Wars, Jurassic Park, the world’s largest Pacman, Fortnite, or VR games in the soft play area (watch the video below).

The brunch menu features three Waves (courses) with around five to six dishes per course. Everything is brought over to the table for you to feast on, course by course. Our favourites from the starters were the fried Babybell cheese and wings in a delectable sauce. For mains, you are served salmon, roast chicken and plenty more – we were bursting at the seams at this point with one too many cocktails and appetisers, and asked them to only serve the juicy beef sliders with fries. Trays off jell-o shots greet you every now and then during brunch, try it! And to digest your food before dessert, head to the pool table nearby or the free arcade games where you can button-smash on Street fighter and Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker. Oh.. the nostalgia!

Come dessert time, relish a chocolate brownie with mint chocolate chip ice cream, light and fluffy cheesecake and creme brûlée with sorbet. The brunch ends at 4pm, but you will find yourself staying back to play. Mr. T Raf and I probably left at around 6pm – never have I ever spend 6 hours at a brunch venue, unless it was for happy hour.

P.S. Women visiting Atlantis The Palm Wavehouse Dubai get free access of all Levels on ladies’ night,  a free go on the Wave Rider, and discounts for bowling (50 per cent off).
