Craving momos in Dubai? We know we crave particular food in Dubai from time-to-time. There are quite a few eateries that serve the speciality, however, for authentic Nepalese momos, look no further than Everest Restaurant in Meena Bazaar, Bur Dubai. Yes, it can be a traffic-heavy area, and parking isn’t anywhere close to the restaurant, but you’re in for a treat here. They literally serve the best momos in Dubai. Reasonably-priced ah-mazing quantity and delicious hot filling. You may not want to dine there – it can get a bit hot (not sure what’s up with the air con) – but do order takeaway, and lots of it.

Chilli momos (seen here)These crispy spicy momos are quite large in size and slightly spicy, with a bit of chilly gravy on the side. We usually order chicken, however, it’s available with just vegetables, or buffalo meat as well.

1 serving = 10 momos = Dhs19

Kothay: These are half-steamed and half-fried. It doesn’t arrive doused in a gravy, however, you can taste a little broth from the filling. Dip it in the chilli and cream condiments for added flavour.

1 serving = 10 momos = Dhs17

C momos: If you’re looking for a dish that’s substantial, and packs in a bit of vegetables, this is the one. Momos are served with capsicum (green peppers) in a thick gravy – one that would taste great with a helping of crusty bread or even a side of rice.

1 serving = 10 momos = Dhs17
